兩個與中國有關的行動主體，分別命名為"Charcoal Typhoon"和"Salmon Typhoon"。
他們以瞄準政府、高等教育單位、通信基礎設施及資訊技術等行業而聞名。
活動主要集中在臺灣，也擴及泰國、馬來西亞、蒙古、法國、菲律賓，且與其他被追蹤的威脅行為相重疊。
