國際網球（ITF）主席哈格提（David Haggerty）在5日接受英國廣播公司（BBC）採訪時表示，不會跟進世界女子網球協會(WTA)的決定，作為網球運動的監管單位，ITF支持女性發聲，但「我們不希望懲罰10億人」，將維持ITF在中國的初階與高階賽事。
