1971~75 很熟的朋友。21世紀，失聯。我們同學間喜歡叫彼此的"外號"，他不喜歡。
1972年暑假，一起去工廠實習、參加救國團的創意營(接下來，在東海弄同名的社團)。他留美，回國在逢甲教書、退休。很虔誠的教徒。

In 2014 we were able to purchase David Wilkie’s 'Young Woman Kneeling at a Prayer Desk' thanks to Marcia Lay – an art teacher who taught at Lordswood Girls School, Harborne, for more than 20 years. She passed away in June 2012, leaving a generous gift in her will to the National Gallery, which fully funded the purchase of one of Wilkie’s finest example of portraiture.

聽為民兄講他的黨外書刊收藏和寫書，已有十多年了。現在終於落實了。
希望他一本接一本寫下去。

下午在信義書店為新書誕生祝賀。感謝允晨出版社出版廖為民新書我的黨外青春，本書深掘白色恐怖時期那塵埋的歴史記憶，為台灣的轉型正義再向前推進一步。作者完整保存從台灣政論創刊起每一期的黨外雜誌，為台灣血汗抗爭的年代留下見證。感恩為民兄的堅持。鐵證如山，都該買來一讀。

徐樹錚共有子女十人：.......三子徐審交（字道鄰，我讀過先生的許多書....），......長女徐櫻環（又叫徐櫻， 我讀過她的"方桂與我五十五年"）中共出書的的敵我規格因作者而異。像這本再版的『方桂与我五十五年』，不只是繁體字版 (2008)，書中根本沒有"中央研究院"這種括號玩意兒，簡直就像是台灣(非北京)商務印書館的書。
"方桂與我五十五年" (内容简介：李方桂是中国语言学界著名的语言学大师之一，他的学术成就主要有三个方面：美洲印第安语、侗台语研究，以及汉语和藏语研究。徐缨女士以散文式的风格回顾了与李先生的五十五年风雨，文笔生动感人。)
