與良心的義務及幸福的要求呈現對立的思想，即是近代的rigorism（嚴格主義）。我做了逆向的思考，認為今日的良心在於對幸福的要求。假如仗著社會、階級、人種的各式名義，以試圖抹殺人類的幸福，這時最具良心的訴求，莫過於要求幸福了。……那種抹殺了幸福論的倫理，乍看之下似乎頗具理論性，但若究其內涵，即可發現只不過是虛無主義而已。
