中共總書記習近平近日要求中國官員“努力塑造可信、可愛、可敬的中國形象”。有人認為，習近平此番是要對此前的“戰狼外交”作出調整，以扭轉由此而來的負面形象。美國之音採訪的幾位中國問題專家指出，中國是否“可信、可愛、可敬”，與外交風格關係不大，更重要的是取決於中國的行為，也就是中國外交的實質。他們說，如果實質不改，無論風格怎麼變，西方也不太可能“愛上”中國。
