作者簡介
布魯諾•拉圖爾，法國當代著名科學哲學家、人類學家和社會學家，行動者網路理論創立者之一，科學技術論（Science and Technology Studies）學界的重要代表人物。他先後任教於巴黎高等礦業學校、巴黎政治學院。主要著作有《實驗室生活：科學事實的建構過程》（1979，與伍爾加合著）、《細菌：戰爭與和平》（1984）、《科學在行動：怎樣在社會中跟隨科學家和工程師》（1987）、《我們從未現代過：對稱性人類學論集》（1991）、《阿哈米斯或對技術的愛》（1992）、《潘朵拉的希望：科學論中的實在》（1999）、《自然的政治：如何把科學帶入民主》（1999）、《重組社會：行動者網路理論導論》（2005）、《實存模式探究：現代人的人類學》（2013）等。

小國辦大事——卡塔爾見聞

最近中東一個微型小國卡塔爾忽然進入了矛盾漩渦，成為國際關注焦點。本人一向對這個地區的潘多拉盒子視為畏途，無意對這個錯綜複雜的局面加以評論。只是想起2014年我機緣湊巧得以訪問這一神奇的小國，留下深刻的印象。回來著手寫“小國辦大事”一文，但寫了一半，他事插入，就此擱下。當前的新聞又使我聯想起那次的印象，檢出未完成的舊文加以續完，記下當時感想。
