果然是哲學系出身，對Spinoza有興趣。事實上，也有人稱Berger為如Baruch Spinoza般的"獨立""磨鏡人"。
張華：梁永安譯筆的基本特色是文字乾淨俐落，讀來沒有疙瘩。

她像是從她閱讀過的那些浪漫小說裡走出來。這女人的魅力加一份便太多，減一分則太少。
剛在讀書會上看到一個大陸譯本(1948李建吾譯)，立判高下：
她活像浪漫主義書籍裡的婦女，他什麼也不要往她身上添，什麼也不要減。

感謝鍾兄贈送 Lewis Carroll: The Man and His Circle 的中譯本，資料很充實，但譯筆不佳，疙瘩頗多，很快就找到一個明顯的錯誤：p. 41 就在那一天，他得到父親去世的消息，日記便沒有更多的條目了， 直至8月份。英文是：That same day, he heard news of the death of his father and there are no further diary entries until the following August.說明：entry是enter的名詞，應作 "記述"解，不能作辭典的 "條目"解。正確的翻譯應該是：
◎就在那一天(1968.6.21)，他得到父親去世的消息，日記開始中斷，到8月份才恢復。
