傳主交代留學英國的女兒，應該好好學好法文、德文，真的太好了，可惜我等太老了。
上月請張華兄在美國買本書，Walter Gropius傳的德文本。據說，英文本是德文本(2手書)的濃縮。可是，為何比英文本小一號。我研究一下，原來它只是Part 1 (Band 1，我們沒注意。既然買了，查一下哪些是英文本沒的。有一張 Le
Corbusier 參加1923年Bauhaus Week 展用的都市建築圖示說明，法文的。

我的讀者後許還記得，我最近在談一些德國學者的"歌德論"，其實，不看德文只能霧裡看花.......
