劉大任的書都值得一讀。《冬之物語》輯一〈白色恐怖〉是唯一談陳映真的。60年代沒省籍之分，不過已經有人稱劉大任、陳映真為假共產人。

菲利普斯堡曾經的核電廠所在地，如今即將成為德國最大的電池儲能中心之一，每天可為約10萬戶家庭供電。隨著德國向再生能源轉型，公用事業公司EnBW計劃安裝一個容量高達400兆瓦/800兆瓦時的大型電池系統，以幫助即時平衡電網。

七月初去「教育特有種」教育博覽會，有一攤是一對台裔澳洲姊妹，她們展示的一套幼兒中文教學書籍，就是用繁體字，她們的孩子在澳洲，學習中文不敎注音，直接用繁體字學習。
她們說簡體字太簡單，沒有故事，繁體字才有標示音符、義符。

台灣的學術/專業出版水平，還沒入流，包括大學出版社的，多重量不重學術規範。
幾本台灣文學史，幾乎沒一本有索引。而幾乎每一本都有日譯本，每本都中規中矩，當成學術著作，當然必須有索引。
同樣的，被李敖先生罵的"胡適全集"，在胡先生過世近一甲子，中研院也可編預算，可以有台灣版的"胡適全集"了，但是比較中國北京大學的"胡適選集"，只有量多，並沒進步多少，只有印刷質量好些；台北聯經出版公司的"胡適日記"都有索引呢。
其他較小號的文化大師，如漢寶德先生的著作，被包裝成媚俗/假暢銷書，一本一本零落地出版，裝飾台南藝術大學的紀念館 (?)。
日本的文學家全集也很發達，我們要禱告年底的"楊牧全集" "成功"，不要有太多遺憾。

"日頭赤炎炎"，曹學長訪我的時光，多選在黃昏時候。他今天才知道我可能"回家吃晚飯"--quality time。
因為他是契可夫迷，訂了一全套，不過，他一直以為，譯者汝龍都從英文轉譯。我引下段，讓他放心：「最初父親是從英語譯作來翻譯契訶夫作品。1949年後，他為了使譯作更加忠實原著，開始自學俄語，又將以前轉譯的契訶夫幾乎全部作品重新翻譯了一遍，這期間花費的心血更是其他人難以想像的。」

機關之報，常淪為諂媚首長報。約半年前，台北市的諸月刊，各有2張市長的英明照。
我們東海大學的校友季刊，近30年來，也一樣，每期校長超人照多多。
不過，近半年來，新校長有新政，很少在"世俗"刊物上見光/發表其想法，連他的禱告，都沒聽過他廣播，真是莫測高深。

第2則是香港中文大學的校友：

繁簡字可暴露出寫字者的背景。我曾在台北買一本中國留學波蘭學生的譯書，她簽名前一直致歉不會寫繁體字。陳先生參訪魯迅故居時的留言：" 民族宗师 半生向往 陳映真 二OO一年" ("民族宗師 半生嚮往 陳映真 二OO一年三月")，他只有簽名時寫不出" 陈"字。
