Dear HC,

我讀過史懷哲傳與羅素論文集。
　大一時候(1969年)，新潮文庫是我吸收新知的泉源，
　當時我無法接受存在主義、幻日手記、卡謬小說之類的東西，我喜歡的是邏輯實證論，像羅素、維根斯坦的思想與史懷哲的志業。
　所以，梁老師是我的知識啟蒙老師。

一早，James就與我約好相見。數十年沒見過面的朋友。我一直感激他1980年代末，出差英國時幫我買的一套E. Gombrich 藝術史論文集。也許是1997年，我託他帶書賣給北京的某飛彈部隊。2002年，我請一家鞋廠的幹部在廣州打牙祭，James 付的帳。
再過來的十幾年，可能是我們各自變化大的年頭。
他常從加拿大發信。
昔日的產業界朋友，多退休了；沒退休的，跟我們生活在兩不同的世界：彼此關心的，有如天壤。
不變的，也許是"初心"、也許是一種堅信。

James 提早到，跟他大聊：他家在Victoria, British Columbia和上海都有房，每年都會回台省親友，住"背包客"等民宿.....2006年 (他取得中國中山大學博士學位) ，大女兒在加拿大車禍改變他一生 (一年多之後痊癒)，他們夫婦現在不搭同一班機 (今天他太太在上海搭機回加拿大，他們連絡多次)。
他跟我談"黑關一周"的經驗.....
我們一起去紫藤廬 (顧客近20位，2成是外國人)午餐。飯後帶他去捷運站--他用Google Map，不過我知道小巷，訪殷海光故居......

到這把年紀，才知道"小學"不簡單：說文"古"字說法有誤.....

報導末2段："2016年6月13日，美國國會眾議院一致通過343號決議案，敦促中國停止強摘良心犯的器官以及對法輪功持續17年的迫害。但是，中國駐美大使館發言人朱海泉回應說，活體器官摘除的指控是捏造，並說法輪功反對中國，敦促美國國會不要支持法輪功。

中國政府強調，中國從2015年起全面停止利用死刑犯器官，實現了從依賴司法渠道到公民自願捐獻的順利轉型。中國公民自願捐獻器官的數量已經躍居亞洲第一，成為世界上建立自願捐獻體係發展最快的國家。"

Ever since Odysseus heard tales of his own exploits being retold among strangers, audiences and readers have been alive to the complications and questions arising from the translation of myth. How are myths taken and carried over into new languages, new civilizations, or new media?
