我不認識劉振強先生（三民書局）。
不過多年前聽過故陳寬仁老師談及他的【工程經濟學】的初版和再版(約30年之後)；可惜沒問他其九十多歲母親的回憶錄【果姑漂流記】的故事。可以肯定的是，劉先生是位俠義之士。今晨讀江燦騰博士提的，他的一本自學奮鬥史之書 (書類是我猜的)，劉先生給百萬稿費故事。
這讓我更覺得應該說說陳老師(家)的出書之故事，以紀念劉振強先生。

過去幾天，兩位老友來訪，都談起我母校的醜聞 (我可能了解衝突的七八成故事，也選邊站；2周前的blog相關文選約有1500人次閱讀.....) 當然，會談到美國大學的高效率、高紀律的募款和經營。美國制度的複雜和成熟，遠非我們所能想像 (這是昔日與故Herbert A. Simon教授討論的小結論)，朋友A君說他讀過Stanford募款制的個案，包括目的和各 cornstone 的管理....Stanford的MBA 之經費，一半由校友捐獻。....B君與我都是品質學會CSQ的資深會員---此組織類似大學，規模和資產可能是一般大學的1/10.....我們談母校與CSQ 的創始者都很正派、有貢獻，不過數十年之後，這兩組織的教育單位和董事會都出"問題"，譬如說，聲望降和老人政治.......(B君認為各屆理事的選舉之排名順序應採隨機，而不是依照姓氏的筆畫數，不過CSQ總便宜行事......
